Maison Gerard
Designed by Mother New York | Country: United States
“Founded in 1974, Maison Gerard specializes in Fine French Art Deco Furniture, Lighting and Objects d’art. Maison Gerard approached Mother New York to re-design their brand identity and communications to coincide with the opening of a new gallery/showroom on East 10th Street. Mother NY created an identity that speaks to the tradition of the Deco period while reenforcing a contemporary point of view. This modern edge is communicated with printed materials, typography and photography that helps differentiate Maison Gerard from its competitors both within the United States and internationally.”
Cavalli Stud & Wine Farm
Designed by Studio Botes | Country: South Africa
“Logo and stationery designed for Cavalli Stud & Wine farm. The culture of Cavalli, which is located in the heart of the Stellenbosch winelands, is deeply rooted in a passion for horses. This passion has been made tangible through Cavalli’s identity, which reflects the spirit, grace and power (yet unpredictability) of the animal in every aspect of its manifestation.”
Frøystad+Klock
Designed by Heydays | Country: Norway
“A small identity for furniture designers Frøystad+Klock, inspired by scandinavian design traditions and their clever use of materials. A stripped down minimalistic approach is ensured by focusing on details in the wordmark like the plus, Ø and O, and the way they stand together. Twelve photos of different materials were teamed up with colored paper to separate the two designers. This also allows flexibility, each element can be shown a number of ways, within the same strict setup.”
Grip: kultur
Designed by Heydays | Country: Norway
“Grip: kultur is a company that hold cultural and creative workshops to give new spark and provide a mental change to businesses. We were responsible for both the naming of the company and their visual identity. The logo is based on the idea of change, a movement from one place to another. All printed matter has been spot varnished to simulate a feel of paint (one of their workshops is art) and change of material, it also hints to the word ‘grip’.”
Matjaz Cuk
Designed by Matjaz Cuk | Country: Slovenia
“A small design studio requires many different office materials for its communication. In order to cut down on costs, resources and waste, I had to rethink the design of stationery. Plans of 9 different items are printed on one sheet of paperboard using only two printing inks. A paper with excellent environmental credentials from Gmund was used.
Cutler & Co.
Designed by Round | Country: Australia
“Cutler & Co is our third project with chef Andrew McConnell and architect Pascale Gomes-McNabb. We collaborated
on naming, the restaurant identity, stationery, signage, menus and wine list.
We were asked to create an identity that reflected the approach to food, style of service and restaurant architecture that would make Cutler & Co unique in an extremely competitive market. Our response graphically and photographically references the gritty nature of the restaurant’s location on the fringeof the city and Fitzroy.”
