“The BML identity had remained largely unchanged since 2007. At this point the agency was still based in Cheltenham, where it had been based since it began in 2001. A lot has changed since those early days and we’re not just talking about moving 180 miles from Cheltenham to our new home in Leeds. Although we still work with many of the same great clients we began with all those years ago (as well as a lot of exceptional new ones), the types of project they require and the way we tackle them has changed beyond recognition. Most importantly, we felt that the agency had undergone a maturing process over the years and it was about time our own image reflected the values, style and personality that make our agency what it is today.”

Looking to reposition their brand by coupling their history with a fresh typographic approach, we sourced a number of historical images and created a custom monogram. The roll out was finished off with letterpress and green ascents across the collateral.”

“This visual identity was conceived as a self-promotion package. The monogram was created merging my initials vertically to create a unique sinuous mark. The font used is Didot, that, with its contrasts and its neoclassical mark, evokes the values of clearness, balance and elegance while maintaing a strong character. These features characterize my working style that is mainly based on rigor and harmony. A pattern was designed that, starting from the logo, transformed into a fluid graphic rhythm that is used to embellish the back of the paper. The colour palette plays with the contrast of a bright indigo combined with the neutral nuances of the paper, that range from ivory to dove-gray.”

“Bons Rêves opened it’s doors in the central business district of Lambertville, NJ in October of 2012. The French inspired boutique specializes in luxury decor and housewares for the interior enthusiast. Looking to maintain the soft and luxurious feel found walking through the boutique, these letterpress business cards feel at home among the plush linens and aromatic body care products. Peel off note pads were also designed as a courtesy for customers to take measurements and decorating ideas home to aid in decision making.”

“Andriotis G.P. is a family business that specializes in the trade and processing of olive oil, for the last 55 years. The logo was designed in order reflect the classic and timeless values of the brand name, while at the same time updating the communication image.

The symbol of the logo presents an olive with its pit, and the typography chosen, with serifs and capital letters, expresses the validity and reliability that characterize the Andriotis business.”
