“The update on the Keena identity system included creating business cards from the proprietor’s vintage family photos, and then making custom stamps for each employee so they can stamp the back of their cards. There are over 25 different family photo cards to choose from, so it makes for a lot of variety in the cards and an interesting story when passing out business cards.The new stamped cards worked with the updated look of the letterpress business cards, letterhead, envelope, and mailing labels.”

The business cards was duplexed using one sheet of Munken Polar paper and one sheet of Rainbow Intensive Red. The red sheet was overprinted with PMS 1795 to give it just the right tone of red. This was quite the balancing act and several versions were turned down before the right tone was achieved. The logotype was foiled on the back of the card which had to be punch cut because of the precision required by the square grid on the front of the cards.”

“A small identity for furniture designers Frøystad+Klock, inspired by scandinavian design traditions and their clever use of materials. A stripped down minimalistic approach is ensured by focusing on details in the wordmark like the plus, Ø and O, and the way they stand together. Twelve photos of different materials were teamed up with colored paper to separate the two designers. This also allows flexibility, each element can be shown a number of ways, within the same strict setup.”
